'Homeland' Season 3 Spoilers: Middle Eastern Intelligence & DC Law Firm Characters Cast [VIDEO]
Showtime's hit TV series Homeland continued to bolster up its cast with the additions of actors Martin Donovan and Shaun Toub for its highly anticipated third season.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Donovan will don the role of a partner at a D.C. law firm named Bennett while Toub will play Middle Eastern intelligence officer Majid Javadi. Donovan had previously appeared in Boss and King & Maxwell. Toub was seen in Lost, Chuck and NCIS.
Other actors joining the Homeland cast are Joanna Merlin, Nazanin Boniadi, Amy Morton, Lawrence Clayton and Tracy Letts. Claire Danes, Damian Lewis, Mandy Patinkin and Morena Baccarin. Diego Klattenhoff, who was a series regular in season 2 may also come back.
Executive producer Alex Gansa recently explained the upcoming season's premise while on ABC's This Week.
"The issue in this season is, what happens if it were learned that a major attack on the United States was sponsored by a state? These are the big concerns that we're going to deal with in the first sweep of episodes," he said.
