'X Factor USA' 2013 Trailer Shows New Judges With Simon Cowell Saying Demi Lovato is 'Different' [VIDEO]
Season 3 of the U.S. X Factor is coming this fall and a humorous first trailer was released on Tuesday in anticipation for the singing competition.
The trailer shows Simon Cowell introducing the two new judges - Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio. While the only male judge deems Rowland a "total professional," the former Destiny's Child singer is heard telling a male contestant, "how you doing there cowboy?"
Addressing the other female judge, Cowell said, "I think everyone is going to understand Paulina."
However, what comes out of Rubio's mouth following his remark is quite difficult to comprehend.
The small rivalry between returning judge Demi Lovato and Cowell is also apparent. The Heart Attack singer teases the 53-year-old about his age, as usual. Still, Cowell admits that the 20-year-old has a different attitude this year.
"She respects me," he said.
As for Cowell, he said he's "back in control." However, the British star gets dragged off his chair by the female judges and is forced to dance to a contestant's rendition of Sir Mix-A-Lot's 1992 hit Baby Got Back.
The entertaining moment took place during the X Factor auditions at New York's Nassau Coliseum in June. As EnStars previously reported, all four judges sent the respective contestant through to the next round.
While all the females seem to be getting along just fine, Lovato previously admitted that she misses her old judging partner - Britney Spears.
"She was really great and super down-to-Earth," Lovato told the U.K.'s The Sun, in an interview published in June. "I'm going to miss her this season."
Lovato also explained that she formed a bond with Spears. In an interview with PopSugar in 2012, Lovato recalled the first moment that united the 20-year-old with the famous pop icon.
"When I first came into it I was so nervous and then I looked over and she was really nervous too so I was like 'I'm really nervous' and she was like 'me too, I don't know what to do,'" she said. "So we kind of like had a moment where we just like 'ok I got your back, we got each other.'"
