'Vampire Diaries' Season 5 Premiere: Vampire Tessa Set To Wreak Havoc On Damon & Stefan? [VIDEO]
The CW's Vampire Diaries will reportedly be bringing on another cast member in the form of an ex-girlfriend of Stefan's (Paul Wesley) named Vampire Tessa.
According to Wet Paint, Tessa, who's spent centuries searching for the Salvatore brothers, can seemingly "hold her own when she tangles with Damon (Ian Somerhalder), and doesn't have the best of memories with the brothers. She's also a "nobleman's daughter," stated SpoilerTV.
Tessa is set to make her first appearance in episode 3 of the upcoming fifth season. While the Wet Paint suspects that she may pop up in a flashback, she'll undoubtedly be gracing the small screen in the present.
In other recent Vampire Diaries news, executive producer Julie Plec recently dished to TV Guide on the creative brass' rationale for having Stefan be the doppleganger of Silas.
"He's always looking to have as much fun as possible playing Stefan, so we came up with something fun and extreme," she explained.
The CW's Vampire Diaries is slated to launch Season 5 on Thursday, October 10. Its spin-off series, The Originals, is set to begin its first season on Tuesday, October 15.
