Actor Yancey Arias has landed a two-episode story arc on the sixth season of ABC's Castle.
TVLine reported that the 42-year-old, who's known for his work on Revenge, will play the role of Carl Villante, the head of an elite investigation unit.
It's said that the character will more than likely "butt heads" with both Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) during a high profile investigation in the upcoming installment, stated the site.
Early on in his career, Arias broke in with his performance in One Live to Live. However, he's also had a slew of guest spots in programs such as Charmed, Thief, The Division, and the aforementioned Revenge.
It was recently announced that actress Lisa Edelstein had signed on to don the role of Rachel McCord, a tough and highly talented Investigator, who's said to play a crucial part in Beckett's decision about her future.
Although no airdate has yet to been officially announced, all indications point to the show starting up again on either Monday, September 23 or the following week, stated Carter Matt.
