Season 5 of Fox's hit TV series Glee has been postponed due to the tragic death of one of its star actors Cory Monteith (Finn), which has now begged the question on whether or not his character will be recasted.
The unideal scenario has put the creative brass of the show in a position where they'lll have to assess both the late actor as well as his real-life girlfriend/co-star Lea Michele's (Rachel) characters moving forward.
International Business Times, reported that the parts of Finn and Rachel are set to be reviewed by Fox, which has decided to postpone the airdate of the first episode in order to allow the cast and crew to properly grieve.
While some of the other regulars saw their roles reduced, Monteith's character was set to be featured frequently in the upcoming installment, according to Perez Hilton.
"Finn was meant to be heavily featured in the fifth season's already-written first two episodes," he said.
Season 5 of Glee had was initially set to return on Thursday, Sept. 19, but will now come back at some point in November, in lieu of recent events. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the popular TV program.
