Lisa Robin Kelly from 'That 70's show' Denies Domestic Abuse Accusation
Lisa Robin Kelly, who was a cast member for "That 70s Show" and was arrested early Tuesday morning for alleged domestic abuse, says the claims are false.
The actress played Laurie Forman, the older sister of Eric Forman (Topher Grace), a central character on the show.
Kelly claims that the man who accused her gave fake pictures to the police. She was booked by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and has reportedly been freed on bail.
"I did nothing to hurt John Michas. I cared. I made a mistake to move with someone I didn't know well and its all a big mess. I was simply trying to move on. He has me on a 50,000 bail which I paid, and my account is wiped out," the actress said, according to a post on her Facebook page.
"If your a friend. Respond thru email.he promised no strings attached when we moved in and that he would be good to me-no matter what. He abonded lease. Then went police with fake pics
I just am so upset.my career is doing well and he made sure to ruin it," the post continued.
In 2010, Kelly was arrested in North Carolina after pleading guilty for driving under the influence. At the time she was fined and sentenced to 12 months of probation.
