The CW's hot new TV series Beauty and the Beast continues to garner attention for its sophomore season, which will be coming back in the fall.

The popular program has fans frantically searching for answers on the future of the Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Catherine (Kristen Kreuk) romance. Interestingly enough, it was those very viewers' voices that prompted its creative brass to keep the couple together for season 2.

Executive producer Jennifer Levin spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about their decision to continue the two-some's relationship in lieu of its support.

"We had a lot of discussions about it. We felt like we couldn't do" the program without the advancement of Vincent and Catherine's relationship moving forward," she explained.

Ryan also addressed the upcoming season, and acknowledged the massive amount of chatter that was a bi-product of his onscreen romance.

"I just wanted fans to stop harassing us about it on Twitter. There are a lot of changes for season two for Vincent (Ryan), even a new beast look. This year is about how hard it is to be in love," he said.

The mystery surrounding the father of Catherine is also said to be a key storyline in season two.

"When she finds out. We won't tease it too long," co-executive producer Sherri Cooper explained.

To top it off, the EP also gave her word that the character of J.T. (Austin Basis) would "be an integral part of the season. We didn't use him enough [last year]. Is there a bigger secret we haven't revealed yet," she added.

The CW's Beauty and the Beast will return for its second season on Thursday, Oct. 10. For more information on the upcoming installment, be sure to keep checking back with Enstars. Check out some more information from an interview Ryan conducted at 2013 Comic-Con.
