To the excitement of its fans across the globe, AMC's The Walking Dead had a panel at the 2013 Comic-Con on Friday, which undoubtedly served to further add to the build towards its highly anticipated season 4.

Amongst several of the show's characters, comic book creator and executive producer Robert Kirkman gave fans the inside scoop on what lies ahead for Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of the now extended prison group.

"Things are going to get way crazier. It's an escalation. The world is getting worse," he said.

The well-versed Greg Nicotero, who not only does the special effects and makeup, but also directed the upcoming season's premiere episode, tipped off fans that they should be expecting more than their fair share of zombies.

"There's stuff that we shot in the last two weeks that is above and beyond. Twenty four hours ago we shot one of the coolest walker gags ever," he said.

Longtime writer and new showrunner Scott M. Gimple also chimed in on the action-packed fourth installment, warning viewers to not expect the program to pull any punches.

"It's going to get insane very quickly," he said.

AMC's The Walking Dead is slated to launch Season 4 on Sunday, October 13 at 9/8 p.m. Central. Be sure to keep checking back with Enstars for more of the latest info on the popular program. The show's Comic-Con panel discussion can be watched below.
