'Sherlock' Season 3 Spoilers: Sherlock's Survival Heavily Impacts Watson? VIDEO & Details
To the excitement of its fans, BBC's hit crime TV series Sherlock graced the city of San Diego this past weekend for its fourth annual Comic-Con festivities.
Season 2 featured Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) jumping from a rooftop to fake his own death, which as it turns out, is a personal favorite of executive producer Mark Gatiss.
"There really are only a few ways you can fall off a roof and survive. That moment is electrifying. And it goes on and on. That lengthy sequence is my favorite moment of Sherlock that we've made," he said.
Moving forward, the second episode of the upcoming season will feature John and Mary tying the knot. However, the most heartfelt moment was clearly between John and Sherlock, when the former brought up the topic of who should be the best man. However, Watson ends up putting his own two sense in.
"But he's not my best friend. I'm...your...best friend," Watson said.
John responds with, "Of course you are."
Gatiss also touched on the Season 3 opener, which is called The Empty Horse, explaining that "The enormously important thing is the impact Sherlock's return has on John Watson."
BBC's Sherlock is scheduled to be making its return on Thursday, October 31. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the popular TV series. A trailer for the upcoming season can be viewed below.
