The royal baby is finally here and now the world waits the find out the little prince's name.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are likely to use a traditional name, according to many reports, and bets are being placed as the wait continues for the baby's name to be announced. British bookmakers Ladbrokes have James as favorite, followed by Henry and George, Philip, Alexander and Richard.

America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon even weighed in the baby name Monday afternoon, urging the new parents to pick a "normal name."

With Hollywood parents using unique monkers like North, Blue Ivy, and Apple to name their children, Cannon said his only advice for the duchess of Cambridge and her husband is to think about how this child will live with this name.

"Honestly, just give your kid a normal name," Cannon quipped to EnStars while promoting his new partnership with Snapple.

Cannon didn't want to dish much more advice though, joking that Prince William and Middleton probably don't want his advice anyway. He added, "They'll be fine."

On Monday, Middleton and Prince William welcomed a baby boy. The baby was born at 4:24 p.m., weighing 8 pounds 6 ounces.

Prince William remained at Middleton's side throughout the labor and the baby was born naturally.

"Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well," read an official bulletin placed on a gilded easel outside Buckingham Palace, where the queen had returned Monday afternoon.

A name has not yet been announced for the child, who is now third in line to the throne. The child's title will be His or Her Royal Highness Prince or Princess (the baby's name) of Cambridge, St. James's Palace said this month. The baby's name may be announced when the family leaves the hospital, CNN reported.
