'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 5: Joe Gorga 'Needs to Control His Anger Against Women,' Says Kim DePaola
Teresa Giudice's BFF Kim DePaola dished her opinion of Sunday night's episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, revealing that Joe Gorga needs to work on his anger issues.
During the episode, the family feud between Teresa Giudice and her brother Joe Gorga boiled over into an all out brawl after he called her "scum." The name calling brought up old emotions for DePaola, whom Joe Gorga called "garbage" after hearing she was allegedly connected to the Melissa Gorga stripper rumors.
"Joe Gorga and myself are civil with one another now. Even though he called me a number of choice words, he apologized to me, and we have moved past it. That being said, I still feel very strongly that he needs to learn to control his anger, especially against women,"DePaola wrote on her blog.
"It is just not right to call women names, especially when it comes to your sister. "Scum" is the type of word that is hard to take back once it's been said," she added.
On the episode, L.A. Shrinks' star Dr. V was brought in to mend the broken family. She eventually got Teresa and Joe to reach a breakthrough moment.
"I was so happy to see Teresa and Joe (her brother) break down and hug it out," DePaola wrote. "Now she and Melissa need to figure out a way to forget about the past and bury the hatchet."
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sunday at 8p.m. on Bravo.
