'Late Night' Host Jimmy Fallon Welcomes Baby Girl With Wife Nancy Juvonen
Late Night host Jimmy Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen welcomed a baby girl into the world early Tuesday morning, not too long after the royal baby arrived.
E! News reported that a spokesperson for the couple said this is their first child and they "are overjoyed about the arrival of their beautiful daughter." The newborn arrived at 6:21 a.m. in New York.
The new parents have yet to announce the baby's name, but US Weekly reports she will join the couple's golden retreiver Gary Frick.
The 38-year-old comedian, who will take over as host of The Tonight Show next year, married Juvonen, 46, in December 2007. The couple met through mutual friend Drew Barrymore, who starred in Fever Pitch with Fallon. Barrywore also co-owns Flower Films with Juvonen.
Fallon made jokes about the royal baby on his show Monday night, but didn't mention anything about expecting a child of his own.
"That's right, Kate Middleton went into labor this morning in London," Fallon said. When the rest of the royal family heard, they were like, 'Oh my God-what's "labor"?'"
When Fallon replaces Jay Leno, Seth Meyers will take his spot.
Late Night With Jimmy Fallon recently received its third Emmy nomination for Best Variety Series. NBC will air a repeat episode of his show tonight while Fallon is with his wife and daughter.
