'The Bachelorette' 2013 Season 9 Desiree Hartsock: New Details About the Proposal and Engagement Ring
The Bachelorette's Desiree Hartsock is engaged.
According to Life and Style, the proposal, filmed for the final episode, which airs on Aug. 5, took place on top of Dow's Hill at the Verandah Resort & Spa.
Her winning man reportedly got down on one knee and proposed with a cushion-cut 3.5-carat Neil Lane diamond and platinum engagement ring worth $75,000.
"She's over the moon!" a friend told the magazine. "Desiree believes she made the right choice."

Sources close to the show tells EnStars the couple have been seeing each other every few weeks since filming ended.
"The two have been meeting in secret, spending time together in secluded locations," the source told EnStars. "The locations are changed every time to avoid tipping off the media and revealing the winner."
An on-set insider revealed though, if Desiree and her man don't stay together for at least two years, they have to give the ring back to ABC.
The Bachelorette airs Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
