Although there hasn't been much chatter on AMC's other big show, Hell On Wheels, many fans are eagerly awaiting the highly anticipated return of the popular period piece for its third season.

The third installment will feature the cast starting up in different locations, as Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) will be a leader "racing the opposite coast to complete the trans-continental railroad," according to Screencrush.

While in the midst of the prolific journey, several of the show's characters are said to be headed in different directions from the TV Series left off in season 2.

Although there hasn't exactly been a ton of other information that has surfaced on the upcoming installment, it was announced that The Following's Jennifer Ferrin has signed on to take on a beefy role.

Interesting to note, the site reported that President Ulysses S. Grant is said to be appearing, but no actor has yet to be attached.

AMC's Hell On Wheels will make its return for Season 3 on Saturday, August 3 at 9/8 p.m. Central. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the popular TV series. A teaser trailer for the upcoming season can be watched below.
