Kourtney Kardashian Baby Girl Bikini Controversy: Twitter Reacts to Toddler Two-Piece Bathing Suit
Kourtney Kardashian has been criticized all week for dressing her 12-month-old daughter in a two-piece bikini.
Kardashian, 34, took Penelope to a pool at Miami's Setail hotel on Sunday. Her boyfriend Scott Disick and son Mason, 3, also joined them. The reality star wore a one-piece black bathing suit and styled her daughter in a two-piece animal-print bikini for their family outing.
Many people reacted negatively to the photos of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star touting her toddler in a two-piece.
"Kourtney Kardashian putting her baby in a bikini.. I find that wrong," Twitter user @Haaarliee wrote.
"Kourtney Kardashian dressing her baby Penelope in a stringy bikini is pathetic," wrote Twitter user Emma Brown.
Other fans pointed out that while the photo was cute and amusing, it was ultimately a bad decision by Kardashian.
"Seeing a picture of Penelope Disick in a leopard-print bikini has made my life #CuteButLooksSoWrong," a fan weighed in.
"As much as I LOVE leopard print...a one-year-old baby girl in a leopard-print bikini just ain't right, even if it is a Kardashian baby," another user wrote.
Mail Online dubbed the swimsuit as "inappropriate."
Kardashian, meanwhile, shared a photo of herself posed with Disick on Instagram that day.
"Poolside with my dude," she wrote on the social media site.
Kardashian flaunted her toned post-baby body in a bikini on Sunday's Keeping Up With The Kardashians. During the episode, Kardashian, her mother and sisters went to Greece for a family vacation.
Prior to the trip, which was filmed in the spring, Kardashian opened up to Us Weekly about how she lost the 45 pounds she gained during pregnancy.
"It was harder to lose weight the second time around," Kardashian admitted.
The E! reality star returned to her normal dress size and now weighs 106 pounds. She gave credit to a healthy diet and exercise thanks to fitness guru Tracy Anderson. The combination of portion control coupled with Anderson's 90-minute dance workouts helped her achieve her goals she said.
