'Big Brother 15' Episode 13 Recap VIDEO: Week 4 Live Eviction & One Houseguest Goes from Nominee to HOH
Big Brother 15 aired its 13th episode Thursday night, featuring the live eviction and the Head of Household competition.
Week 4 Head of Household: Judd Daugherty
Week 4 Nominees: Aaryn Gries, GinaMarie Zimmerman & Kaitlin Barnaby
Other houseguests: Amanda Zuckerman, Andy Herren, Candice Stewart, Elissa Slater, Helen Kim, Howard Overby, Jessie Kowalski, McCrae Olson and Spencer Clawson.
The episode began in the aftermath of GinaMarie being nominated by America at the Veto ceremony. Aaryn told Jessie and Judd that GinaMarie was a very negative person in the house and offered up her allegiance to them. She also told them that Kaitlin was a very strong competitor.
Judd told Elissa, Jessie and Helen that Kaitlin was a tough competitor, explaining that she needed to go first. Elissa remained adamant in voting out Aaryn due to her own personal problems with her.
Aaryn came to Helen with a proposal that she would either throw the next Head of Household competition or nominate whoever she or Elissa want, in order to get Elissa on her side. When Helen went to Elissa with the deal, Elissa immediately thought that Aaryn was lying.
Judd told Helen and Andy about the alliance he made with GinaMarie, Howard, Kaitlin and Spencer. Helen relayed the knowledge to Elissa who then confronted Kaitlin, asking her flat out if she made a deal with those four houseguests. Aaryn overheard the conversation and word spread around the house. Most of the houseguests gathered in one of the bedrooms to address the alliance and the conversation devolved to Aaryn and Elissa confronting each other, with both of them asked why they had such problems with the other.
The live eviction was held after Aaryn, GinaMarie and Kaitlin gave their speeches as to why they deserved to stay in the house. Amanda, Andy, Candice, Elissa, Helen, Howard, Jessie, McCrae and Spencer voted to evict Kaitlin and none of them voted to evict Aaryn or GinaMarie. Kaitlin became the fourth houseguest evicted from the Big Brother house by a unanimous vote.
After host Julie Chen delivered the news, Kaitlin only chose to hug GinaMarie before walking out. Outside the house, Kaitlin told Chen that she felt hurt by various houseguests betraying her. Chen then explained that America would be acting as MVP again, meaning that they would be voting for the person they wanted to see nominated next week.
The Head of Household competition then began, which featured each houseguest rolling a ball down a ramp into a giant roulette reel. Whoever slotted the highest number (between 0 and 36) would end up being the new Head of Household. Aaryn ended up getting a perfect score of 36 and became the Head of Household for the week.
Big Brother 15 will air its next episode Sunday at 8 p.m. on CBS, featuring Aaryn's nominations for eviction.
