ABC's hit crime series Castle has attached yet another guest role in the highly anticipated sixth season, as former 24 standout Glenn Morshower is now set to come aboard the popular program.

According to TV Guide, Morshower will be donning the role of Michael Reed, an ex-general with big secrets he's hoping won't spill out to the general public.

Morshower aside, the Castle casting department has signed on some other notable names to appear in the upcoming installment as well, including Lisa Edelstein, Warren Christie and Myko Oliver.

Edelstein, who's well known for being the in the show House, will be playing the most crucial of roles, as her part as a federal agent could heavily affect Beckett's (Stana Katic's) decision on whether or not she takes the job she was offered in D.C. in Season 5.

Carter Matt reported that Castle is currently on the casting prowl for another potentially important character. The recurring role is that of Frank "Sully" Sullivan, a detective.The site reported that the actor in the Sully role should be debuting on Oct. 7.
