Fashion Star's Pink Vest gains Overnight Success [PHOTOS]
A vest designed by Ross Bennett for the TV show "Fashion Star" that went to the shelves of Macy's sold out in one day.
Last night on NBC’s “Fashion Star,” competitors Ronnie Escalante, Luciana Scarabello, Ross Bennett, Sarah Parrott and Nikki Poulos were faced with the task of working in pairs and using live models in a blank window space to feature their collections.
The cropped double-breasted vest in navy and pink pinstripe by Bennett had buttons on the front and a welt pocket at chest and a contrast pocket square detail. It also featued a pointed hem with contrast racerback and hits at high waist.
The other designs that made it to retailers' shelves were a sleeveless low-v sheath dress from Escalante that won a deal with Macy's, a short fitted reversible blazer by Parrott and a long jersey dress with a printed pattern by Poulos that were bought by H&M.
Also a cutout black dress from designer Scarabello was acquired by Saks Fifth Avenue.
All the retailers make ttvhe tvgarments available for fashionistas on a budget.
