Nick Cannon named Mac Miller his favorite guest on Wild 'N Out this season, but that could change with a potential appearance by Mariah Carey.

"He was ready to play, no ego, none of that stuff," Cannon told EnStars on Tuesday about Miller. "He allowed you to make fun of him and knew how to make fun of people."

During his appearance on the show, Miller joked about Cannon's wife, Carey. The 21-year-old said, "Boo hoo, the last raps you kicked, they were doodoo. I got more views than you on YouTube, plus I heard Mariah make more money than you do."

Cannon's superstar wife was also the topic of discussion during the season 5 premiere, when comedian Kevin Hart proclaimed his love for her. However, the comical references might not be Carey's only involvement in the show. Cannon implied that his lady could also appear on the Wild 'N Out stage.

"You've got to keep watching," he said during the IAMS So Good event in New York City. "She might pop up."

After a six-year hiatus, the show returned to MTV 2 on July 9 and it helped the network achieve its best ratings to date. As the show's producer and host, Cannon is proud of the accomplishment.

"For us to bring it back again and for it to hit record numbers and make history, it kind of lets you know you're doing something right," he said, while holding his puppy Pow Jackson. "Every time I'd be out, people were like 'Oh man you've got to bring Wild 'N Out back.' We went along with it and gave the audience what they wanted and they showed up and drove, so it's great."

The comedy improv show, which debuted in 2005, features two competing teams: Cannon leads one team and a special guest leads the other. The teams compete in various games, including the popular freestyle rap battle. The show's DJ, D-Wrek, judges their performances.

"At the end of the day, it's a fun show with me and my friends," Cannon said. "So to be able to hang out with them and get paid to do it, that's always cool."
