Consider Us Happy-Sad! 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' Announces They Will Continue Through a Fifth and FINAL Season One Day Shy of Season Four Premiere!
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has officially been renewed for its fifth season: the season which will also be its last.
Just a day shy of their season four premiere, it has been announced that The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will be continuing on into a fifth season. Yet, according to an article on The Hollywood Reporter, this news remains bittersweet in that this fifth season will also be the show's last.
The series, which was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and stars Rachel Brosanahan in the title role as Mrs. Maisel, chronicles the story of a woman in 1960s America persuing a career in stand-up comedy. It is a show that has captured the hearts of many. While we are very excited to see where this next season will take us, we can't help but be saddened by the knowlege that the end is in sight.
The show is loved by all. When the annoucement was made, Jennifer Salke, the head of Amazon Studios stated:

The fourth season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel comes out tomorrow, February 18th, on Amazon Prime.
