The Season 2 Couples Are Here! Which 'Love is Blind' Season 2 Couple Are You And Your Partner?
Love is Blind back for season two, and the new couples are absolutely fascinating. A new group has journeyed through the pods and started planning their quickly approaching weddings. There is something about this show that makes you say to yourself: I feel like this whole process should be taking longer.
In any reality television series, or really any television series, it is natural to draw comparisons between yourself and those you see on the screen. What's EXTRA fun about Love is Blind (yes, I'm looking at you coupled people out there) is that you can find the couple that you and your partner are most like!
Like with any reality dating show (even though I personally believe that Love is Blind is nonnegotiably the best one), the relationships have their ups and their downs. They have their good sides and their bad sides. Each one is unique. That doesn't mean that one is better than the others. The specific type for each couple can be very relatable.
So...which Love is Blind couple type are you and your partner?
1. Danielle and Nick - The Fully Committed Couple
Danielle and Nick both have stuff in their past that makes them weary of relationships- coming from families where marriages never seemed to work out, the two came in optimistic, but determined to ensure anything that they commit themselves to is forever. They are honest, real, and communicative. Honestly, they may even OVER communicate well at times. They are eager to please and eager to make it work. The love is real, regardless of whether or not one of them may or may not make their own toothpaste.
2. Abhishek "Shake" and Deepti - To Love Despite
In one of my favorite rom-coms of all time, Set it Up, they make a point of saying that, "you like someone because of their qualities, and you love someone despite some of their qualities." Shake and Deepti really embody this. Early on, Shake was making superficial comments about womens' weights and appearances that made Deepti uncomfortable. However, from there, they were able to open up more deeply to each other and find real, powerful love. They love each other, no matter what small things have stood in their way.
3. Shaina and Kyle - Star Crossed Lovers
These two are madly in love with each other, but there are problems that might just keep them apart. Even though the two disagree on their religious beliefs (which is a big deal for Shaina), the love that is present is working to prove stronger than any obstacle. Shaina and Kyle are the star-crossed lovers of the season. Here's to hoping they find their way to a happier ending!
4. Shayne and Natalie - A Perfect Puzzle
Shayne and Natalie perfectly compliment each other's differences. Shayne is wild and adventurous. Natalie is very organized and planned. Based on these contrasting characteristics, one would not immediately think to put them together. However, they compliment each other's differences. They complete each other, making them an incredibly strong and loving couple.
5. Mallory and Salvador - The Ones That Chose Each Other
The love between Mallory and Salvador has survived tests. Eary on in the pods, it was a close call for Mallory between Salvador and Jarrette. Ultimately, she chose Salvador. This choice makes their bond even stronger. They chose each other, and it was a challenge to choose. That's how we can be sure that the gravity of the show tightly locks the two into a truly perfect pairing.
6. Jarrette and Iyanna - Soul Mates
Jarrette and Iyanna are without question one of the sweetest couples on the show. They are the couple that shows us all what love is supposed to look like. They are kind to each other and clearly care deeply. While there may be some jealousy about things that happened back in the pods, namely between Jarrette and Mallory, the wonderful love the two share is sure to grow stronger and more beautiful in time. These two give off true soul mate energy.
