Once Upon a Time producer Adam Horowitz teased some new spoilers for the upcoming season of the fantasy series.

Snow White/Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming/David Nolan (Josh Dallas) will try to set a good example for Emma (Jennifer Morrison) as they travel to Neverland. The Queen/Regina Mills (Lana Parilla) may try to get Henry back through illegal means, so Snow will try to represent the side of good.

"If the Queen's got a better way to get Henry (Jared Gilmore) that may break the law, so be it. It's prison rules," Horowitz told TV Guide, in a report published Tuesday. However, he added, "This year, it's about finding the hope. It's the hope that Snow White always brought to us. She's the light."

As for where the series will take Snow through season 3, Horowitz explained, "I think she's going to see a lot of darkness and realize that the best thing she can do is return the light to not just her, but to [her] daughter and her husband."

As the characters travel to Neverland for the new season, they will meet many new characters. One of those characters is Peter Pan, who the audience will come to find has a "complicated motivation." Robert Carlyle, who plays Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold, told Examiner in a report published Tuesday that the audience will learn Peter's backstory.

"I'll be interested for the audience-similarly to Rumplestiltskin, when you go back to his backstory, you find out where he came from and how he became Rumplestiltskin-well maybe we'll find out who Peter Pan actually is," Carlyle revealed. "We just know him as the leader of these Lost Boys in this land where you never grow old. Has he always been there? Where did he come from?"

Once Upon a Time season 3 is set to premiere Sunday, Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
