IT'S BETTING TIME! Which 'Love is Blind' Couples Do YOU Think Will Make it Past the Altar? Here Are Our Guesses!
The highly anticipated Love is Blind season finale is coming out this Friday. We have been watching intently as five couples have made their way to the altar: Danielle and Nick, Shake and Deepti, Shane and Natalie, Mallory and Salvador, Jarette and Iyanna. All that is left is to see if they say "I Do."
The odds of everyone getting up to the front of the church and committing to their pod-partner for life are low. We believe in love, and we want to believe that everyone has somehow gone in and found their forever person...it IS more fun to speculate wildly about who is going to say yes and who isn't.
(It's like the dating show version of fantasy football! Maybe...)
So, here are our Enstarz guesses about who is going to say the big I DO and who is going to turn and run the other way! Of course, let's say at first, we hope everyone makes it!
Danielle and Nick
[SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST EPISODE BEFORE THE FINALE]
DANIELLE: YES
As we know from the final moments of the most recently released episode (note, I am stalling for those of you that skated past the spoiler warning! It's not too late! Turn back now! The episode ended with Danille giving Nick an optimistic "I Do!" Therefore, we know this one. Not a guess, just a fact. But YAY for love!
NICK: NO
Yes, we think that the first televised couple is going to be one that brings us to instant heartbreak. It would make sense: we've come to feel so secure about all of these couples, and the first one that the editors choose to show us is one that says, "Hey, anything can happen!" More specifically, however, Nick has expressed multiple times that he does not like the way that Danielle spends her time with her friends, goes out, plays Guitar Hero. Personally, I think Danielle sounds like SO MUCH FUN, but he seems to get judgy about it. When that happens she gets anxious and then he gets angry and back and forth it goes. As the perfectionist of the relationship, we think that he may be less inclined to be with her on the grounds that she isn't going to fall into his specific and quiet way of life.
Shake and Deepti
DEEPTI AND SHAKE: YES
Wedding bells are sounding all around for these two. For each, they have come to love and understand each other, even after some rough patches in the beginning. Shake has expressed multiple times that he falls more in love with Deepti's personality with every moment. As far as strange comments made earlier by Shake, Deepti seems to have softened him, allowing him to be less performative with her. When it comes to issues of their sexual attraction to each other, I believe the two will work past it and on it because they love each other so deeply.
Shayne and Natalie
NATALIE AND SHAYNE: YES
Here's the thing everyone: I think Shayne and Natalie are both going to say yes on the grounds that they both REALLY want to be married. Like goal number one, no questions asked, is leaving with a life partner. Do I think either of them would change their answer if they were able to have a bird's eye view on their relationship and focus in on the fundamental differences they have in how they want to organize their lives and plan for their futures? Yes, yes I do. However, if I were to bet on this final episode, they are both going to say yes.
Mallory and Salvador
MALLORY: NO
This is a super tough call that I'm not even sure that I fully agree with. For the record, I'm a big fan of Mallory and Salvador. Mallory chose Salvador. They clearly have a deep and loving connection. As the wedding day approaches, however, I think Mallory will come to realize that she and Savador are really in two different places in their lives. I don't think she is ready to say yes, BUT I think there is hope that they will reunite after the show ends and start dating in the real world. I think they're a great couple, but I think Mallory will come to the conclusion that they need more time.
SALVADOR: YES
This one hurts, because I don't think there's a question that Salvador is going to say yes. He's in this all the way. I think he's gonna say yes.
Jarrette and Iyanna
IYANNA AND JARRETTE: YES
Oh come on! Jarrette and Iyanna HAVE to make it. They are a match made in heaven. While the original jealousy over Mallory caused some conflict, the two have worked through it. On that note, they have worked through almost every issue that has come their way. Even though Jarrette likes to go out and Iyanna likes to stay in, they, unlike Danielle and Nick, have found balance in this rather than opposition. Our prediction is a resounding YES from both!
Do you agree? We will just have to see! The finale of Love is Blind season two comes out on Friday February 25th on Netflix.
