Phoebe Waller-Bridge is BACK BABY!
It has been announced in an exclusive article on Deadline that the genius behind Fleabag is bringing a new series to Amazon Studios. Very little is known about the upcoming show so far such as who is in it, who is on the creative team, or what it is about! However, with the Crashing creator at the helm, we are confident that it will be an unmissable and intelligent series.
The multi-facited talent is in the middle of a three year deal with Amazon Studios, and this upcoming series is the first to come out of that agreement. It is also the first series that Waller-Bridge is creating since the finale of Fleabag season two left fans hungry for more. (You can't leave us on a Hot Priest and bow out!!)
Phoebe Waller-Bridge is an award-winning actor, writer, and creator. For her work on Fleabag, the star was awarded with six Primetime Emmys, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. Overally, it is fair to say that Phoebe Waller-Bridge is outstanding in every project she takes on. We are immediately excited to see what this new series has in store.
While we have not seen another Waller-Bridge series since Fleabag, the artist has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes. She worked as one of the writers in the incredible Bond film No Time to Die, starring Daniel Craig. She did appear briefly in the HBO Comedy series Run, a show which she also executively produced.
