Demi Lovato Stepping Out of Her Role in Upcoming NBC Pilot 'Hungry'
Demi Lovato will no longer be be acting in the upcoming NBC pilot Hungry.
Demi Lovato, according to an exclusive on Deadline, is stepping away from the front of the camera for the upcoming NBC pilot Hungry. Lovato has been set to star in this upcoming series for a year, but she removed themselves from being the lead in the project due to conflicts in scheduling. This leaves excited fans to wonder what else could be in store for the star.
The show was picked up by NBC in April of 2021, and Lovato has been attached to it for nearly that long. The show will chronicle the story of a group of friends who are in a group for various food related issues. They find friendship and help within each other. This sure to be heartwarming and engaging series was written by Suzanne Martin.
This ensemble show already boasts an incredibly talented cast, even with Lovato stepping aside. Stars attached to the project include Valerie Bertinelli, Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias, Ryan McPartlin, Alex Brightman and Ashley D. Kelley. We are so excited to see how this talented group works together to create a new TV friend-family we are sure to fall instantly in love with.
While they will no longer be acting in the highly anticipated multi-camera series, they will continue to be an instrumental part of the project.
