'Bridgerton' Season 2 Fought Hard for Harry Styles 'Sign of the Times'! Here's What Happened!
Bridgerton season two is almost here, and fans are excited for the love, the intrigue, and - of course - the music.
Fans have been absolutely obsessed over the Bridgerton soundtrack. The original songs were composed by the award winning Kris Bowers, and it also features a series of instrumentals of popular songs and original orchestrations.
They are absolutely beautiful, and the best thing to listen to when you want to feel like you are running through Regency-Era fields. They help cement the world in the past while giving us musical themes of the future.
However, in order to make this beautifully adapted music for the show, the rights to the modern-day songs must be aquired - and according to an article on EW, the most difficult song to get the rights for this season was Harry Styles's Sign of the Times.
The music supervisor, Justin Kamps, opened up about the fight to ensure this fantastic song would be included in the season.
"That one was a pretty difficult clearance...That one took the longest to get everyone to sign off on. I think everyone will really love it. Even for these songs that are just huge songs that everyone knows, [an instrumental version] still breathes new life and brings them to a new audience, and in a different way."
We are sure that this song will be an absolutely amazing influence on the season.
Other incredible songs we can expect to hear include "Material Girl," "Diamonds," "You Oughta Know," "Wrecking Ball," and "Kabhi Khushi" "Kabhie Gham."
We are so excited to see Bridgerton season two when it premieres on March 25th on Netflix.
