Netflix and Skydance have teamed up to create a new international spy-thriller. We have known for sometime that the upcoming feature film will star Death on the Nile's Gal Gadot and Belfast's Jamie Dornan. Now, exciting additions to the cast have been announced. According to an exclusive article on Deadline, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt will now be joining the film.
Alia Bhatt is one of the biggest movie stars in India. Her most recent film Gangubai Kathiawadi got the third biggest opening and the biggest holiday opening. Her experience and ability is unquestionable. We can't wait to see her take to the screen in this upcoming film. Heart of Stone will mark her first ever English-language feature film.
Not much is yet known about Heart of Stone. As is the way with most films in their early stages, especially spy and action films, the plot details are being kept securely under lock and key. Here are some of the things that we do know. The movie is being directed by the incredible Tom Harper. He is best known for his work on The Aeronauts and Peaky Blinders. The script comes from a similarly accomplished team. The film was written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder. Ruka is known for her writing work on Hidden Figures. Rucka is recognized for her writing work on The Old Guard.
With this incredible team, we are sure that Heart of Stone is going to be an absolutely unmissable cinematic event. We can't wait to see it when it comes out!
