'Big Brother 15' Recap, Episode 15 VIDEO: America Nominates Amanda for Eviction & Power of Veto Results
Big Brother 15 aired its 15th episode Wednesday night featuring the third nominee reveal, the Power of Veto competition and the Veto ceremony.
Week 5 Head of Household: Aaryn Gries
Week 5 Nominees: Howard Overby & Spencer Clawson
Other houseguests: Amanda Zuckerman, Andy Herren, Candice Stewart, Elissa Slater, GinaMarie Zimmerman, Helen Kim, Jessie Kowalski, Judd Daugherty and McCrae Olson.
The episode began in the aftermath of Aaryn nominating Howard and Spencer for eviction. Helen said in the Diary Room she was impressed that Aaryn went through with their deal to nominate Howard and Spencer.
Jessie tearfully told Howard that he deserved to stay in the game. She told him not to give up and try to win the Power of Veto to take himself off the nomination block. Meanwhile, McCrae told Spencer that if Howard won Veto and took himself off the block the house might target Spencer for eviction.

Howard addressed the entire house later that night and mostly mumbled incoherently about trust. Many houseguests expressed their confusion at the speech and they talked about it after he left, saying that it was even more reason to not trust him and get him out this week.
Amanda was voted to be the third nominee by America, much to her surprise. The houseguests then picked players for the Veto competition. Aaryn, Amanda, Howard and Spencer were automatically selected to play and Candice and Jessie were randomly selected.
Amanda, Andy and McCrae speculated that Howard was definitely the MVP. Amanda confronted Howard, asking him directly if he was MVP and nominated her. He repeatedly denied that he was MVP but she did not seem to trust his claims.
The Veto competition involved the houseguests searching the backyard for puzzle pieces and building a stone replica of the Veto medallion. The first houseguest to do so would win the Power of Veto. Amanda was off to an early lead in the competition but Spencer soon began to catch up. Spencer eventually took the lead and wound up completing the puzzle, meaning he had won the Power of Veto.
Aaryn said that she was likely going to nominate Candice once Spencer took himself off the block because of her personal problems with her.
Candice talked to Helen about the changing powers in the house. She told Helen that she was more her ally than Amanda and questioned why she was targeting Howard. Candice then suggested that she would target those who wronged her this week, which would include Helen. Helen then went to Aaryn, Amanda, Andy, GinaMarie and McCrae and told her about Candice's accusations, giving Aaryn even more reason to nominate Candice.
