Normally this inevitable desperation turns to re-watching, and trying to find any possible detail about the next upcoming season (even if it is a year away). But NOT THIS TIME!
The Ton is EXPANDING! According to an article on EW, a Bridgerton prequel series is coming our way, following to story of Queen Charlotte, and some key members of the cast have been officially announced.
Queen Charlotte is one of the most simultaneously lovely and fearsome members of the show, which you have to be in some capacity in order to be Queen!
India Amarteifio, we are sure, will be able to capture this regality but give it the youthful flare that this prequel promises. The actress is known for her work on the show Line of Duty. In addition, Arsema Thomas will take on the role of a young Lady Danbury.
Other members of the new cast will include Sam Clemmett, Richard Cunningham, Tunji Kasim, Rob Malone, and Cyril Nri. We have also been assured that the series will feature apperances from some of our Bridgerton favortie, including Golda Rosheuvel, Ruth Gemmell, Adjoa Andoh, and Hugh Sachs .
