'Breaking Bad' Creators Said 'It Would Be A Damn Shame' If Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul Didn't Appear In 'Better Call Saul'
Good news, Breaking Bad fans: Your boys Jesse and Walt might be coming back.
That's right, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, AKA Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, are likely to appear - crossing over to the spinoff series Better Call Saul, in fact, according to none other than show creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould.
At the premiere event for this final season of the Bob Odenkirk-led drama, Gilligan told Variety:
"It would be a damn shame if the show ended without them appearing, would it not? You heard it here first!"
While it stops just short of a full on confirmation it does seem like the pair will make an appearance - we can't wait to see what happens if or when Walter, Jesse, and Saul's paths finally cross.
The AMC series is a prequel, that takes place before the events of Breaking Bad - so before Walter and Jesse's drug operation turned them into the men audiences knew and loved. So the characters we see in any crossover probably won't be acting the way audiences remember them. As Gould teased:
"These two worlds crossover in a way that you haven't seen before, that's for sure."
We'll have to wait until the official premiere of the sixth and final season to find out exactly what way that is - Better Call Saul has its last season premiere on April 18.
