Now In High School, The Kids Of 'Stranger Things' Are Getting Into The Haunted House Game With The Trailer For Season 4.
Netflix is taking viewers back to The Upside Down this May when they premiere Volume 1 of the fourth Season of their hit series Stranger Things - They even dropped a chilling new trailer to get viewers hyped for it.
The trailer plays as an idyllic, Norman Rockwell-esque look at a 1950s all American family moving into a new suburban home, to the tune Dream A Little Dream Of Me by Ella Fitzgerald.
What starts as a picturesque portrait of them settling into their new digs, however, devolves slowly into a nightmare of supernatural occurrences, eerie imagery, and the eventual demise of the new homeowners.
Enter the now high-school age kids of Stranger Things breaking into what is now called Creel House, complete with a shot of a button on a book bag with the Ghostbusters emblem. It seems they are now a sort of paranormal investigation team, older and wiser from their past adventures.
The trailer ends with a grandfather clock wrapped in the black vines, found in The Upside Down.
Chilling.
Created by Matt and Ross Duffer, according to Netflix, the new season takes place six months after the epic Battle of Starcourt. Now dealing with the rigors of high school, the kids embark on a journey to uncover a new supernatural threat, which could lead them to figuring out how to put an end to The Upside Down for good.
This season is set in two parts. Stranger Things Vol. 1 will stream on Netflix beginning May 27th, with Vol. 2 beginning on July 1st. It will be exciting to see what they have in store for us this time around.
