'Big Brother 15' Episode 16 Live Eviction Recap VIDEO: Fifth HouseGuest Evicted as New HOH is Crowned
Big Brother 15 aired its sixteenth episode Thursday night, featuring the live eviction and the next Head of Household competition.
Week 5 Head of Household: Aaryn Gries
Week 5 Nominees: Amanda Zuckerman, Candice Stewart & Howard Overby
Other houseguests: Andy Herren, Elissa Slater, GinaMarie Zimmerman, Helen Kim, Jessie Kowalski, Judd Daugherty, McCrae Olson and Spencer Clawson.
The episode began in the aftermath of Spencer taking himself off the block and Candice being nominated in her place. Howard and Candice discussed being on the block together and Howard told her to stop being so negative.
Spencer and GinaMarie agreed that they wanted to keep Howard in the house and discussed voting out Amanda instead. Howard told Andy, Judd and Spencer that they would have two allies if they kept both Candice and Howard and voted out Amanda.
Andy went and told Amanda about Howard's plan and assured her that he wasn't really voting her out. Amanda confronted Spencer about his plan to get her out and he denied all of her claims.
Helen informed Candice that Spencer was actually trying to get her out. Candice then called a house meeting and confronted Spencer about all of his lies. She told him in front of everyone that he would be the next target to be evicted next week.

Andy, Elissa, GinaMarie, Helen, Jessie, Judd and McCrae all voted to evict Howard while Spencer voted to evict Candice, meaning that Howard became the fifth houseguest evicted from Big Brother 15.
Host Julie Chen broke the news to the houseguests and Howard hugged all of his housemates before walking out the front door. Outside the house, Chen asked Howard about the racism in the house. He said that it was "the most difficult thing in the world" to not confront the racist houseguests, such as Aaryn, head on.
Chen announced that America would once again be the MVP this week, meaning fans would be able to vote for the third nominee.
The Head of Household involved the houseguests holding onto handles while walking on a spinning log. Whoever remained on the log the longest would win the competition. The episode ended with every houseguest still on the log.
