There are going to be some significant developments on Under the Dome in the coming weeks, according to new spoilers released recently.

The biggest news for the upcoming episode is that two characters will die, according to a report Thursday by Entertainment Weekly. Apparently, one of the deaths will occur in the aftermath of a power struggle while the other is "more mysterious" and has to do with the dome's powers. The report said that the latter character's death will be "really sad."

Under the Dome executive producer also teased that there would be an interested development between Junior (Alexander Koch) and Angie (Britt Robertson).

"You know how Junior always says, 'Angie, you're sick?' And everybody's like 'Junior, I hate him. He's psychotic. He's f-ed up.' It's like, really? Well, we'll see," Baer teased. The executive producer also said that fans will finally learn the cause of Joe (Colin Ford) and Norrie's (Mackenzie Lintz) seizures by episode 8.

"By episode 8, [the characters] will discover something that will change everything for the rest of the season," Baer revealed.

The next episode of Under the Dome is titled Imperfect Circles. A new clip was released from one of the scenes of the episode featuring Joe and Norrie stumbling upon a large object covered in leaves in the woods. The pair uncovers the object only to find that it is miniature-sized version of the dome with a large black egg resting under it.

According to SpoilerTV, the black egg will light up and have pink streaks coming down the sides of it. This suggests a direct correlation with Joe and Norrie's seizures, in which they chant, "pink stars falling in lines" repeatedly.

Under the Dome will air Imperfect Circles on Monday, Aug. 5 at 10 p.m. on CBS.
