Lea Michele Steps Out, Looks Gorgeous at Jamie-Lynn Sigler's Baby Shower Three Weeks After Boyfriend Cory Monteith's Death [PHOTOS]
Just three week's after her boyfriend Cory Monteith's death, Lea Michele stepped out looking stunning in a white lace dress to attend Jamie-Lynn Sigler's baby shower at Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
During the party, Michele stuck close to her girlfriends, including JoAnna Garcia. (See the photos.)
Michele is still mourning the loss of her Glee co-star and boyfriend, who was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room due to a lethal dose of heroin and alcohol on July 13.
On July 29, Michele broke her silence on Twitter, writing, "Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart." Along with the tweet, she posted a sweet, personal photo of herself smiling with Monteith.
A few days later, she continued to thank fans on the social media site. "Spending the day surrounded by great friends.. Hope you all are having a good day," she tweeted on July 31. "Sending lots of love to you all.."
Lea Michele Questioning Cory Monteith's Friends About His Final Days
According to reports, Michele was blindsided by the news and didn't know Monteith had relapsed.
"Lea completely lost her mind," a close friend told Us Weekly. "She went crazy, screaming and crying until 3 a.m."
"Lea has been inconsolable and feels like she's been hit by a truck," the friend said. "She didn't know he'd started using again."
Lea Michele Returns to 'Glee' Set
Fox announced that production on Glee would be pushed back until August in the wake of Monteith's sudden death. The postponement subsequently moved the show's Season 5 premiere back a week, to Sept. 26.
