ABC's hit crime TV series, Castle, continues to bolster up its cast for the upcoming season, which will be kicking off in the fall.

According to TVLine, Joshua Bitton will be the one attached for a multi-episode story arc in season 6 to play the role of Grant "Sully" Sullivan, a newbie detective attempting to prove himself.

Sully is described as an NYPD detective in his late 20s or early 30s that's a "guy's guy." Carter Matt points out that since there wouldn't be a huge point in showing the department without Castle (Nathan Fillion) or Beckett (Stana Katic), the detective character will surely be brought in to interact with one of them in some way, shape or form.

The actor is mostly known for his work on Private Practice and Justified, along several other hits in the prime time television slot. He will join the likes of Antonio Sabato Jr. (Ramon Russo), Yancey Arias (Carl Villante), Lisa Edelstein (Rachel McCord), Warren Christie (Brad Parker) and Glenn Morshower (Michael Reed), who have all been attached to various roles for the upcoming installment.
