'American Horror Story' Season 3 Spoilers: 'Coven' TRAILER 2 Released Featuring Voodoo 'Pins & Needles' [VIDEO]
The second teaser trailer was released for American Horror Story season 3, which many are saying is even scarier than the first.
The trailer, titled Pins & Needles, features a woman in a black bandeau top and black shorts sitting on her knees. The woman appears to have large pins sticking in and out of her body, one piercing through her left leg, another through her right arm and another through her stomach area.
The woman stares at the camera before suddenly dropping to her hands and knees and keep staring, seemingly imitating an animal stalking her prey. The trailer is set to Winter Song by Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson.
After the woman falls to her hands and knees, the trailer immediately cuts to the logo for American Horror Story: Coven and features a snippet from the show's theme song.

American Horror Story Season 3 Spoilers: First Coven Trailer Released
The trailer seems to reflect one of the elements that will be covered in the new season: voodoo magic. Angela Bassett will be playing Marie Laveau, a Voodoo priestess who lived in New Orleans in the 1800s. Bassett discussed what it was like to play the local legend at the Television Critics Association press tour Friday.
"She was a very influential person in the city," Bassett explained. "There's some Vodouns who showed me a few things, but I don't know if I need all that right now." She said that she was talking to locals about how they perceive Laveau and "trying to sense who she was and her power in the 1800s as this black Creole woman."
American Horror Story: Coven will involve a group of Salem witches who travel to New Orleans and get into conflict with local Vodouns.
The season will premiere in October on FX.
