Kourtney Kardashian Son Mason, Male Model's Paternity Claims Turns Into Custody Battle For 3 Year-Old
Model Michael Girgenti filed paperwork Thursday seeking joint custody of Kourtney Kardashian's 3-year-old son Mason Disick on the heels of his paternity claims.
Girgenti filed the petition at Los Angeles County Superior Court in a bid to get Kardashian have the child take a DNA test because he is questioning the boy's paternity, according to TMZ. In the suit, obtained by the gossip site, Girgenti wrote he had an alleged sexual encounter with the reality star. He said they had "unprotected vaginal sex" and that he "ejaculated inside [Kourtney's] vagina" in his Glendal home.
Kardashian's attorney, Todd Wilson, responded to the news. He said he and his client have not seen the paperwork and alleged that Girgenti is fraudulent.
"This individual has been selling false and fabricated stories to the tabloids for years about Kourtney Kardashian and her son, Mason," Wilson told the website, adding "Scott Disick is Mason's father."
Enstars reported in March that Girgenti denied Kardashian's long-term boyfriend, Scott Disick, is the biological father. Scott is also father to her daughter Penelope, 13 months. The male model claimed he slept with Kardashian in March 2009 - nine months before she gave birth to Mason on Dec. 14, 2009.
Girgenti told InTouch Weekly that he and the Kourtney & Kim Take Miami star became physical on their third date at his Glendale, Calif. apartment. Girgenti described their sexual encounter in detail in the bombshell claim. He said they met after they posed alongside each other in a photo shoot for 944 magazine in August 2008.
Girgenti said their encounter "was great" and estimated it lasted about 20 minutes. He said they didn't use or discuss protection and he assumed she was on the pill.
Girgenti said when he saw photos of Mason he "began to wonder" if the toddler was his child. He said he decided to go public with the claim because he is hoping it will "finally push [Kardashian] into taking the DNA test."
