With season 3 of Homeland almost a month away from premiering, the show's cast has previewed what's ahead for their characters and relationships.

Showtime released a video on YouTube of the show's cast at a photo-shoot for the new season. During the video, stars Damian Lewis (who plays Sgt. Nicholas Brody) gave brief teases of season 3.

"We have Rupert Friend, who plays Peter Quinn, who was introduced last season, which would lead one to suspect that he will have a role to play through the season, kind of in a compelling way," Lewis said, coyly. Friend had a recurring role as CIA operative Quinn in season 2 and was bumped up to series regular status for season 3. Quinn was last seen in the season 2 finale refusing to shoot Brody despite being under orders to do so.

"I think the photo-shoots will highlight the trust or lack of between the characters going forward through season 3," Lewis concluded.

The photo-shoot video also contains some never-before-seen footage of season 3. One scene features Carrie (Claire Danes) at a hearing to discuss the bombing at Langley, VA. from the season 2 finale. The judge explains that it has been 58 days since the bombing and that they were trying to get to the bottom of what happened that day.

Another scene features Carrie getting in Saul's (Mandy Patinkin) face and intensely saying, "Rule No. 1: We don't eat our own!" while Saul looks on, pensively.
