'White Collar' Season 5 Spoilers: Peter & Elizabeth Having Conflict in Premiere Episode? [VIDEO, NEWS]
New details were released Tuesday regarding the season 5 premiere of White Collar.
The episode, which is set to premiere in the fall, will feature some conflict in the Peter (Tim DeKay) and Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) relationship. A woman from Peter's past will show up in the season premiere and complicate things between him and Elizabeth, according to E! Online.
Peter was last seen in the season 4 finale getting framed for the murder of Senator Terence Pratt (Titus Welliver) and subsequently arrested. Elizabeth sat down for dinner, as she had planned with Peter, unaware that her husband had been arrested.
It was also recently announced that Mark Sheppard would be returning to White Collar in season 5. Sheppard played conman Curtis Hagen in the show's first episode and was sent to jail by Peter. When the show picks up in season 5 Neal (Matt Bomer) will ask Hagen to help and protect Peter, which may lead Neal to return to his criminal past.
Over the course of the past few months, spoilers for the new season of White Collar have been released. Though this is the first piece of information known about Peter and Elizabeth, as well as Hagen, a lot of information has been revealed about Neal.
Neal will be faced with David Siegel (Warren Kole), his replacement handler while Peter faces jail time. He will also get a new love interest in the form of a bookish woman named Rebecca Lowe (Bridget Regan). He may also be faced with on-again, off-again ex-girlfriend Sara (Hilarie Burton) in the new season.
White Collar premieres its fifth season in October on the USA network. A specific date has not yet been announced.
