Fans of the AMC's The Walking Dead continue to scour the Internet in anticipation of its upcoming season, which will be returning in the fall.

One question that's surely slipped the minds of the program's loyalists is just who baby Judith's biological father is. While most have assumed it was Rick's (Andrew Lincoln), there is clearly a strong possibility that it's his old buddy Shane's (Jon Bernthal), who was killed by the former in season 2.

At the start of season 1, Rick was thought to be dead by his wife Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies), who then started getting intimate with Shane.

While in attendance for the Wizard World Chicago Comic-Con, Bernthal took the opportunity to dish on the origins of baby Judith, whom he says is his, according to Comic Book.

"100% Shane's baby. That baby's going to have a big, old busted nose and giant a-- ears. You know what I mean. 100% Shane's baby," he said.

Speaking of the baby, executive producer Greg Nicotero had told TV Guide that they'll be "a little hint of [a zombie baby] in the premiere episode, which may or may not be Judith.
