After losing the husband and father of her child, Matthew Crawley (Dan Stevens) to an auto accident in PBS's Downton Abbey, Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) will evidently be starting the fourth installment of the program as a grieving single mother.

Dockery recently spoke about her troubled character, and how she'll begin to pick up the pieces and re-enter the world of dating in the upcoming season, according to The Christian Science Monitor.

"She has more than one love interest. She's kind of slowly throughout the series coming back to real life, and of course its important for her to eventually move on," she said.

In other news on the program, executive producer Gareth Neame spoke about the British-American drama as a whole, along with its mainstream popularity around the world.

"The show is so popular around the world. It's beloved and it's in fine form," he said.
