Netflix's hit series, Orange Is The New Black, continues to garner a slew of attention over its upcoming second season.
While one of the program's standouts, Laura Prepon (Alex), will be making her return for its sophomore installment, she'll reportedly only be back for "a handful of episodes," according to BuzzFeed.
The site stated that Prepon has made the choice to not sign a contract for the full season, as her character "will stick around long enough to wrap her story."
The respective news will surely come as a major disappointment to many of the OITNB fans, as there was surely a level of intrigue with the Piper (Taylor Schilling) and Alex storyline.
On a positive note, the show will more than likely leave the door open for Prepon to make a return in the future.
Interesting enough, Netflix had made the decision to pick up the second season of Orange Is The New Black before its first one ever came out.
