'American Horror Story' Season 3 Spoilers: Fiona Leads Salem Witches Flocking To New Orleans [TRAILER]
The creator of American Horror Story revealed new information about the show's upcoming third season.
Ryan Murphy shared details about the show's third season, subtitled Coven, with Deadline on Thursday.
"We do fun, really cool casting every day," Murphy said. "Yesterday I cast Christine Ebersole, who's a great Tony Award winning actress. She's going to play this [recurring] Glinda the Good Witch-type of gal."
Murphy also said that he is in the process of casting a male lead for episode 6, who will become the love interest of Fiona, Jessica Lange's character.
"I've been meeting with actors for that. I don't have any idea who that's going to be. [Lange] plays a real femme fatale. Last year she was always in nun's outfits, and this year she's almost always exclusively in head-to-toe Yves St Laurent. [Laughs.] I think people will love Jessica Lange playing that powerful, dark, sexy character."
