The 2nd Mass, the Skitters, and the Espheni will make their way onto mobile gaming platforms this holiday season.

The hit TNT sci-fi show Falling Skies may only air in the summertime, but soon fans will be able to interact with the post-invasion storyline year-round. The cable network has teamed up with Little Orbit to integrate the television program into the gaming world.

"Little Orbit's mission is to identify high-quality licenses and bring their world to gamers in a truly unique and interactive experience," said Matt Scott, president of Little Orbit, according to News OK. "We are collaborating closely with the show's own writers to craft the game's storyline, wholly integrating the "Falling Skies" universe into a visceral gaming experience."

With a mobile game due out this holiday season, fans of other consoles will have to wait until late 2014 for a product, according to Shack News.

Falling Skies recently ended its third season on TNT. While the game will feature voice acting by the cast, it has not been revealed at what point in the shows chronology the game will pickup. Will players be based in Boston in the months directly following the alien incursion, or will gamers find themselves regrouping in Charleston two years into the resistance?

Falling Skies will return next summer with an expanded 12-episode season.
