'House of Cards' Season 2 Spoilers: Presidential Motorcade Scene At Restored Residence Shot [VIDEO, NEWS]
Netflix's House of Cards is currently in the midst of filming its sophomore season, as more information continues to surface in regards to the its production happenings.
According to The Baltimore Sun, the Bel Air Police Department provided the crew of the popular program with five officers at Williams Street between the hours of 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police Chief Leo Matrangola stated that the department and the production company agreed to a rate of $62 per hour per officer, which brought the total cost to $1,550 with five cops.
"We consulted with Havre de Grace [Police] and the Sheriff's Office, on the cost. We were told to expect to be paid within a week; we felt comfortable with it," he said.
The scenes that were filmed included a presidential motorcade at a restored residence in the 100 block of Williams Street. Virginia State Police cruisers were organized to portray a town in Virginia for the show.
The street was guarded on several blocks while the HoC sequences were shot with many locals watching on.
