New details regarding season 5 of Glee have been released, including insight into a new male lead.

In the wake of the death of Cory Monteith, who played Finn Hudson on the show, the producers are looking to cast a new male lead for season 5. According to a report by E!Online on Friday, the male lead will have a major recurring role in season 5 and is described as good-looking and older than the high school kids at McKinley High. He will also be from New York.

The third episode of the season will be dedicated to celebrating Finn's life, and Monteith, by extension. The show's production team will take a few weeks off after the episode dedicated to Finn, to regroup and focus on moving forward.

In other Glee spoiler news, actor Blake Jenner, who plays Ryder on the show, teased a few details about the season premiere.

"We're dealing with some - just some good teenage problems," Jenner explained to Wetpaint recently. "Some good teenage problems, backed up by some good Beatles music."

The season premiere will be the first of two episodes to feature music from the Beatles.

"I can say that you're all in for a bunch of classics and a bunch of great dancing," Jenner added.

As for Jenner's comments about "good teenage problems," he may be referring to a continuation from his storyline at the end of season 4, which found Ryder getting tricked into a Catfish situation by a fellow New Directions member, Unique (Alex Newell). Ryder quit the Glee club after the incident.

Jenner, who joined the cast in season 4, has been elevated to a series regular for season 5.

Season 5 of Glee premieres Thursday, Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. at Fox.
