While Netflix's hit series, Orange Is The New Black, has continued to dominate the web as of late, most of the program's recent chatter has revolved around the status of one of its main actors, Laura Prepon (Alex), who has been rumored to be making her eventual exit from the program.

The less than ideal buzz was first ignited by Buzzfeed on Aug. 14, and it stated that a source close to OITNB said that she would no longer be a regular on it.

The respective news sparked speculation that the 33-year-old could indeed be departing, and only show up in season 2 to resolve her character's current storyline.

It was recently reported by TVGuide that the series will "[wrap] up Laura's stuff and [resolve] the cliffhanger."

The actress has reportedly not been seen on set since the start of shooting, which was a couple weeks ago. Prepon has yet to comment on the rumors surrounding her alleged departure from the show.
