Supernatural will be seeing the return of Charlie Bradbury (Felicia Day) fairly early in season 9.

The burgeoning hunter and world-class hacker will be appearing in episode 4, according to TV Guide. "Slumber Party," which focuses on the history of the Men of Letters while also bearing a Wizard of Oz theme.

Having appeared in several episodes since season 7's "The Girl With the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo," Bradbury is a slightly geeky, incredibly quick learning woman who fell into the Winchester's lives when they were fighting the Leviathan. On the run since she was in her early teens, Bradbury began to research monsters following her second encounter with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) in season 8's "LARP and the Real Girl."

Much to the brothers' chagrin, it appears this is a hobby she will continue to pursue.

"I am so excited to return to Supernatural," Day told The Hollywood Reporter during this year's Comic-Con. "Some of the plans they have for this upcoming episode just blow my mind. I am looking forward to returning to Vancouver, at least once more but fingers crossed, they'll have me back after that."

As for the character she portrays, Day fits the role perfectly.

"I have to say that Charlie is such a gift. She is a genuine geek," Day said, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "She's just a really cool character and she happens to like geek things. I appreciate that because I understand from a mainstream perspective that you might start from a geek cliche and not go anymore deeply but Charlie is so multi-layered and they give me the opportunity to explore the character, which most guest stars don't really ever get."

Supernatural returns to the CW on Oct. 8.
