The premiere of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD is drawing closer and Marvel has finaly released a featurette for everyone's favorite agent.

Despite his death in last year's The Avengers, Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) is back in the fray, busy assembling a team to help keep earth safe.

The new video from the Joss Whedon prgram shows what information and agent moving to Level 7 Access within SHIELD can become privileged too. Most notably this includes being let in on the secret that Coulson is still alive and well, something Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) is more than a little surprised to find out.

So, was his death faked or was he somehow resurrected?

"I don't know much yet, I don't know if that's exactly how I would phrase what happens because I've only shot the pilot," Gregg cryptically told Collider at the Saturn Awards. "There are still going to be some questions after the pilot and some things will be answered."

During Comic-Con, it was revealed that Coulson believes he was only dead for a total of eight seconds. However, other members of SHIELD seem to know something he doesn't.

Despite the controversy as to how Coulson came back, the fact of the matter is that he is there and fans will get to see a lot more of his personality. While many are use to seeing the agent portrayed as rather calm and understanding in recent films, Coulson will show his fierce and unyielding side as well when he comes to ABC.

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD will premiere on Sept. 24.
