'Sherlock' Season 3 Premiere: The Latest Character & Storyline Tidbits For The Upcoming Series [TRAILER, NEWS]
BBC's hit TV series, Sherlock, will be coming back to the small screen in the fall for its third season. The sophomore installment came to an end with the bogus death of Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) in season 3, as he faked his own death after he was wrongly accused of being a serial killer.
While Watson (Martin Freeman) won't be dealing with his friend's supposed death very well before finding out the truth, the character will reportedly be finding happiness in his love life.
Interestingly enough, Freeman's real-life girlfriend, Amanda Abbington, will be taking on the role of his significant other, Mary Moirstan.
"Working with Martin on Sherlock is really quite inspiring, 'cause he's so good at his job. And he and [Benedict Cumberbatch] have this fantastic chemistry. Coming into Sherlock you have to up your game, 'cause they're so good together," she said, according to Latin Times.
In other Sherlock happenings, the program has been confirmed for a fourth season, with the cast all being locked in.
"We've agreed to two more series but I could get into trouble for saying that. All I know at the moment is I'm doing these three [episodes of the upcoming series] and another three," Cumberbatch said, according to NME.
